We welcome you to the Lido Summer Swim School and hope you enjoy browsing our website. We would like you to know we value all of our customers and aim to give them an excellent personal service. This website is owned and operated by Wix. These Terms set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services as offered by us. This website offers visitors 5 day swimming courses for children and 1-2-1 private lessons for all ages. By accessing or using the website of our service, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

In order to use our website you must be at least 18 years of age, or of the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, and possess the legal authority, right and freedom to enter into these Terms as a binding agreement. You are not allowed to use this website if doing so is prohibited in your country or under any law or regulation applicable to you.
To receive our services you may be a minor aged 4+ but have to be signed in and represented by your parent/carer/legal guardian.

When buying a course or lesson, you agree that: (i) you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to buy it: (ii) you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item and you complete the check-out payment process.

 

The prices we charge for using our services are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for products displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur.

 

Refund Policy
Lessons are non-transferable and non-refundable

Once you have booked a course/swimming lesson you will receive a confirmation email, accompanying good instruction to assist your arrival to your course/lesson.
If you have not received a confirmation email, this may be due to your server or security. Please check your junk folder.
Please contact by phone if you have questions.

We have a strictly No Refunds Policy -due to cancellations by you our Client/s.
You need to be dedicated to your course/s and your lesson/s.
Lessons/Courses can be rescheduled at the teachers discretion and changed on the booking calendar, but this must happen 72 hours before the original booking was set to commence.

 

If for any reason a lesson is cancelled by Lido Summer Swim School, we will endeavour to make this lesson up. We will either reschedule the lesson(s) or give a full refundFull refunds will occur for these reasons:

 

• There needs to be a minimum of 2 children per course, if this quota has not been filled 72 hours before commence start date the course will be cancelled and a full refund will follow.

• The teacher has to cancel the lesson- full refunds for any day missed, we will inform you as soon as we can under these circumstances. Or we can reschedule if this is suitable for both parties.

• If he pool is closed due to adverse weather or structural failure- full refunds for any day missed, we will inform you as soon as we can under these circumstances.
  
  We will not be liable for failure or delay to perform obligations under these terms, which have become practicably impossible because of a force majeure event. Force majeure event includes without limitation natural disasters or acts of God; acts of terrorism; labour disputes or stoppages; war; government acts or orders; epidemics, pandemics or outbreak of communicable disease; national or regional emergencies; or any other cause beyond our control. If such force majeure event happens both you and we hereby agree not to cancel but reschedule the missed lesson(s) at dates as soon as practicable after the force majeure event ceases to exist or credit your swimming pool account. No refunds will be given and for the avoidance of doubt this clause does not include self isolation.
  
  Retention of right to change offering
  We may, without prior notice, change the services; stop providing the services or any features of the services we offer; or create limits for the services. We may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend access to the services without notice and liability for any reason, or for no reason.

We, together with our licensors, own and control all the copyright and other intellectual property rights in our website and the material on our website; and all the copyright and other intellectual property rights in our website and the material on our website are reserved.

Licence to use the Lido summer swim school website

You may: (a) view pages from our website in a web browser; (b) download pages from our website for caching in a web browser; (c) print pages from our website subject to the other provisions of these terms and conditions.

User IDs and passwords

Your user ID must not be liable to mislead and must comply with content rules. You must not use your account or user ID for or in connection with the impersonation of any person. You must keep your password confidential. You must notify us in writing immediately if you become aware of any disclosure of your password. You are responsible for any activity on our website arising out of any failure to keep your password confidential, and may be held liable for any losses arising out of such a failure.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Eleanor Goldstein assumes no liability or responsibility for any (i) errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content; (ii) personal injury or property damage, of any nature whatsoever, resulting from your access to or use of our service; and (iii) any unauthorised access to or use of our secure servers and/or any and all personal information stored therein.

Right to change and modify Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms from time to time at our sole discretion. Therefore, you should review these page periodically. When we change the Terms in a material manner, we will notify you that material changes have been made to the Terms. Your continued use of the Website or our service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to any of these terms or any future version of the Terms, do not use or access (or continue to access) the website or the service.

You agree to receive from time to time promotional messages and materials from us, by mail, email or any other contact form you may provide us with (including your phone number for calls or text messages). If you don't want to receive such promotional materials or notices – please just notify us at any time. 

Preference of law and dispute resolution

These Terms, the rights and remedies provided hereunder, and any and all claims and disputes related hereto and/or to the services, shall be governed by, construed under and enforced in all respects solely and exclusively in accordance with the internal substantive laws of England, without respect to its conflict of laws principles. Any and all such claims and disputes shall be brought in, and you hereby consent to them being decided exclusively by a court of competent jurisdiction located in City of London. The application of the United Nations Convention of Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is hereby expressly excluded.
